How to book a trial flight

You can request a trial flight using the buttons below or simply call 01285 770077.  We book trial flights for you on our online system. We will need to know which type of aircraft you wish to fly in at this stage.  Come the day, or even the day before, you can call us to check the weather. We want you to enjoy the flying experience and we will not expect you to have to endure flying in poor weather conditions just so we get the flight done.

Request a trial flight below or by phone and we will book onto the online system for you. If you continue as a student after your trial flight, you will be able to book into the online system yourself.

NB: The office is not manned all the time but if you leave a message including a contact telephone number we will get back to you normally the same day. All messages are forwarded immediately to the admin email address.

Standard Trial Flight

The air experience 30 minute flight costs £124 and you will be with us for an hour to complete everything.

Extended Trial Flight

The standard trial flying lesson is for 60 minutes flying and costs £202.  For this lesson you will need to allow two hours total time.

Half Day Course

For those of you who seek a little more to really see if flying is going to appeal, the Half Day Course at £354 combines a Standard Trail Flight (30 mins) and a full flying lesson (60 mins) with additional detailed introduction to microlight training and covering exercises 1 – 6 of the BMAA Syllabus thoroughly. The half day course is approx 4 hours in total. Includes Temporary Club membership.

Half Day Land Away

This is the 2 hours in the air & coffee/cake stop (when available) at a local airfield option at £404. Unlike the half day course, theory is minimal here, perhaps you would like to engage with the flight planning and navigation but the emphasis is on the flight experience. You can still be on the controls and instructed en route.

Full Day Course

This is another option which we can tailor to suite. There are more details on the Pricing page but the total is £662.00
